Technologie is taking over

To be honest I am so sick of using it. If you want to book tickets you must go through a line of questioning by an automated woman (I have research to back this up but they felt a woman's voice was necessary so people would not get as angry because she would be soothing) yeah right!!!! auto lady's are completely oblivious to the frustration they are causing which possibly makes it more annoying.

Now onto the questions. I was wondering, is it the general consensus that technology is better? Do we trust more in technology than in our own interactions and intuitions? What is it that makes us so afraid to be wrong.

It seems as though we follow the trends and become slaves to mechanical objects. We trust in them because we believe since they are machined they are invincible. Or possibly since they now run most of society we believe that they are invincible because it helps us sleep better at night.

Ok ok computers are useful in the sense of assignments and using the tools provided by the internet they make a good match. Using networking sites to deify friendships across sea, to indulge in love without boarders (ha technically) and to communicate/update with family.

Why can't we still send letters? I have actually never had a letter get lost......email on the other hand I have had things like. "delivery status failure" and "delayed result" or whatever. Some junk back saying to many people are trying to email at the same time ! what is that, you are the INTERNET YOU ARE UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF SPACE. You are prepared and find routs for anything.

This is the prime example I might be so bold to say. We all have some idea about the internet but no everyday person really understands it. That is also why when I am sending Ted, a project and I don't check my email until sunday night and It hasn't made it to its destination. I get frustrated. In fact I get so angry thinking about the marks being taken off or how I have to go to the trouble of explaining and printing out documents that my poor computer has taken most of the neglect in replace of the internet.

How am I supposed to smash my internet down onto the floor when it is a big ball of space. ?

I think i want be Amish.
